Description
The Mini Album is a full album in miniature. It is built with the same materials, the same binding and the same printing as our full-size albums — only the format is smaller. Nothing about it is a reduced specification; it is simply a smaller object made to the same standard.
Photographers use it in two ways: as a keepsake for parents and close family alongside a main wedding album, and as a lower-priced add-on that still carries the studio’s name and finish.
The cover is made from the same linen and velvet swatches used across our range, so a Mini Album can be matched exactly to the main album it accompanies or deliberately set apart from it.
Linen gives a matte, hard-wearing surface. Velvet gives depth and a softer hand, and photographs particularly well in a delivery set. Endpapers are chosen separately, so the inside of the cover can carry its own colour or printed design.
Made to order and bound by hand:
- Lay-flat binding, so each spread opens fully to 180° without a gutter cutting through the image.
- Pages built on a rigid core, so spreads stay flat and square rather than curling over time.
- Cover material wrapped and turned by hand, with no raw edges.
- Available in four sizes, with the spread count set by you at the time of order.
Spreads are printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive DPII photographic paper — a true photographic print, exposed and developed rather than inkjet-printed.
This gives continuous tone rather than a dot pattern, accurate skin tones, and the archival stability that photographic paper is known for. The surface is fingerprint-resistant in normal handling, which matters in an album that is meant to be picked up and passed around.
A Mini Album lets you extend a package without discounting the main product. Parents get an album of their own rather than a set of loose prints, the finish matches what the couple received, and the cost per unit stays low enough to build into a package rather than sell separately.
