Description
The Classic Box is our most configurable presentation case, built to hold a printed album and to be seen as part of the product rather than as packaging. It is made to order in three bands — exterior, middle sector and interior — each chosen separately, so the box can echo the album inside it or deliberately contrast with it.
Twelve sizes cover every album format we produce, and four heights let you match the thickness of the album rather than guessing. The result is a case that closes properly, holds the album without movement, and looks intentional on a shelf or on a delivery table.
You choose each surface independently:
- Exterior: linen or velvet, from the full swatch range.
- Middle sector: linen or velvet, matched to the exterior or chosen as a contrast band.
- Interior lining: white or black paper lining, or linen for a softer, fully textile finish.
- Ribbon: a colour of your choice, used to lift the album cleanly out of the box.
Linen gives a matte, structured surface that stays clean-looking over time. Velvet gives depth and a softer hand, and reads as the more formal of the two.
Every box is cut, covered and assembled by hand in our workshop:
- Twelve sizes, matched to our album formats.
- Four height options — 4cm, 5cm, 6cm and 7cm — chosen according to the spread count of the album.
- Material is wrapped and turned at the edges so no raw board is visible.
- The ribbon is fitted into the base so the album can be lifted without being gripped or bent.
- Made to order; nothing is pulled from stock.
The cover can carry your own artwork or a name and date. Upload your own design, or give us one or two lines of text and choose the font. The finish is either embossing — blind, without colour, pressed into the material — or foil stamping for a metallic finish.
Both options include the creation of the die (cliché) used to press the design. If your order contains more than one item with the same personalisation, the die fee is charged once per order and waived automatically in the cart for the additional items.
Your business logo can also be pressed onto the box, using the cliché held on file from your Business Logo Creation order.
The Classic Box is the balance point in our range: far more presence than a plain storage box, and considerably more configurable than a fixed-material case. For photographers delivering a wedding or christening album, it is the difference between handing over a product and presenting one — and it keeps the album protected from dust, light and handling long after the delivery day.
