Description
The Basic Box is the straightforward way to deliver a printed album well. It uses the same sizing logic and the same handmade construction as our Classic Box, with a simpler specification and a price that makes it practical to include with every order rather than only with premium packages.
It is the box to choose when you want the album to arrive protected and presented, without the cost of a full textile or leather case.
The box is finished in a clean, matte surface, with Stone as the standard colour. Seven further colours are available at an extra charge: Magnolia, Sienna, Ice Blue, Latte, Brown, Graphite and Green.
An external ribbon can be added if you want a closure detail and a way to lift the box that feels more considered than a plain lid.
Made to order, by hand, in the same workshop as the rest of our range:
- Twelve sizes, matched to our album formats.
- Height chosen to suit the thickness of the album.
- Covering material wrapped and turned at the edges — no raw board on show.
- Interior dimensioned so the album sits without forcing and lifts out without a struggle.
Even at this level the cover can be personalised. Upload your own design, or give us one or two lines of text and choose the font, and we press it into the cover. The finish is embossing — blind, without colour. As an alternative, external box printing (extra charge) prints your own print-ready design directly on the outside of the box; it is available on the paper colours Stone, Magnolia, Sienna, Ice Blue and Latte.
The price includes the creation of the die (cliché), and where several items in one order share the same personalisation the die fee is charged once and waived automatically for the rest.
Your business logo can also be pressed onto the box from the cliché we hold on file.
Most albums are handed over in whatever came to hand. The Basic Box changes that for very little: the album arrives square, clean and protected, and the client keeps the box instead of discarding it. For photographers who deliver volume, it is the most cost-effective upgrade in the range.
